Sara is a multi-certified Newborn Care Specialist (CNS, ICNCS, advCNCS (NCSA)) and the owner of Welcome Home Baby, which is based in Los Angeles, California. Sara discovered her passion for newborn care after spending some time volunteering in the mountains of Ayacucho, Peru. It was there where she worked in a government run infant care program, caring for the newborns of mothers’ incarcerated in the coca trade-the main source of income in these mountain villages.

Sara took that passion and began her NCS career, starting her business in 2016. As an NCS, she believes in helping parents form the building blocks that support healthy sleep habits from birth and establishing a routine around the needs of baby and family through responsive care. Specializing in the care of multiples and travel positions, Welcome Home Baby serves clients nationwide and internationally. Sara has a focus in continued education and elevating professionalism within the NCS industry and continues to be actively involved in both local and international childcare organizations. She has been invited to speak at multiple National Nanny Training Day events, Nanny Care Hub virtual parent trainings, as well as at the national Nannypalooza conference. This love of for continuing education and sharing information has inspired the Welcome Home Baby School, newly launching as an online resource for new parents and caregivers alike.
