Taught by the incredible Tara Dakin Sauer, LMFT, PMH-C (instructor of the WHB School PMADs Series), “Dealing With the Crying” is a quick watch - just 15 minutes in length - but full of information to help you understand your reactions to your baby crying and how to cope effectively!
This mini-workshop covers the basics of how your brain works so you will have insight into your specific reactions and know when and why to use different strategies.
Tara also walks you through her top five tips to feel calmer and more connected to your baby in the midst of the crying, allowing you to more quickly recognize and meet your baby’s needs.
Meet your Instructor
Tara Dakin Sauer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Infant Sleep Consultant.
Tara is dedicated to improving maternal mental health by helping mommas AND their babies get better sleep through individual psychotherapy sessions as well as adult and infant sleep coaching that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of moms dealing with postpartum mood disorders.
Her goal is to provide the unique support, education, and resources an overwhelmed and exhausted momma (and her support team) needs so that she is able to offer the very best version of herself to her children. Whether she is working as a therapist or sleep consultant, Tara’s hope for all of her clients is for them to reach the end of their time working together feeling like a renewed momma – well-rested and confident in continuing their parenting journey!
